Community Relations

       
 

The purpose of this office is to develop and maintain relationships with individuals, governments and the business communities within the local, regional and state communities.

Main goals:

  • As an institution of higher education, the University strives to be a good neighbor and a valued member of the community.
  • Serve to keep communication open between the university and its neighbors, working closely with residents and officials
  • Conduct neighborhood outreach to promote an atmosphere of goodwill between the university and its neighbors.
  • Serve as an information resource and a point of contact for all members of the community.
  • Promote the university as a resource to the community to both city and county government elected and appointed officials.
