FRS Web

Welcome to the University of Maryland's Financial Records System Website (FRS Web). As part of the University's Business Process Re-engineering project, this Internet based system will allow authorized users to view financial data based upon their level of access. Users can run reports on a daily or month end basis (i.e. account stmt of dollars, report of transactions & open commitment records to name a few). FRS Web is a multi-campus system that is used throughout the State of MD. It was developed by OIT AEA in conjunction with the UM Comptroller's Office.

Budget and Fiscal Analysis Web

The mission of Budget and Fiscal Analysis is to provide guidance and assistance to all campus departments at the University of Maryland in establishing, revising, reporting, and administering their operating budgets as directed by the University, Board of Regents, Governor (Department of Budget and Management), and applicable laws and regulations.

Budget and Fiscal Analysis is primarily responsible for, but not limited to, the following activities:

• Coordination and preparation of the annual campus budget request to the State.
• Coordination and preparation of the annual campus working budget.
• Budget monitoring and financial reporting on the campus operating budget.
• Processing budget transfers and revisions.
• Maintenance of position allocation and control system.
• Primary staff support and recorder for the campus Finance Committee.
• Participation and staff support to other key campus committees and work groups, including enrollment management, information technology, business process redesign, and planning.
